Fe 12 G1 Football League vs Na Piarsaigh Sun Mar 18th

The Fe 12 boys had a very good outing away to Na Piarsaigh on St Patrick’s weekend. In a very competitive game the Nemo boys attacking flair shone. They won on a score line of 6-06 to 2-02.


Fe 16 C3 Football League vs Ballincollig Sun Mar 18th

The Fe 16 C3 team had a tough outing against Ballincollig last weekend. Short several regulars the boys tried very hard but the Ballincollig team were excellent on the day. Final score was 6-12 to 0-05 for the visitors.


Fe 14 C Camogie League vs Ballinhassig Sun Mar 18th

The Fe 14 girls had a home tie against Ballinhassig last week. In a very entertaining game the Nemo girls were competitive throughout. However the visitors were far sharper in front of goal and in the end they had a well-deserved 5-07 to 2-02 win.


Girl’s Fe 12 Football Challenge vs Mallow Sun Mar 18th

The Fe 12 girls had a very useful challenge game against Mallow last week. 4 quarters of 15 minutes were played and the full panel participated. It was a good exercise for the girls. They won narrowly on the day.


Fe 16 Camogie Challenge vs Midleton Mon Mar 19th

The Fe 16 camogie team had a very useful challenge game away to Midleton on bank holiday Monday. They played very well and matched their rivals throughout. In the end the Midleton girls won on a score line of 1-08 to 1-04.


Fe 15 P2 Football League vs Midleton Mon Mar 19th

The Fe 15 boys continued their excellent start to the league with a second win at home to Midleton on Bank Holiday Monday. The led at half time by 2 points. But Midleton rallied in the second half and scored an excellent goal to go a point ahead. But Nemo steadied and playing some very good football, they kicked some lovely scores to regain the lead. Despite enormous pressure from Midleton they held out for a 2 point win on a score line of 1-08 to 1-06.


Fe 13 C3 Football League vs Inisscarra Mon Mar 19th

The Fe 13 C3 team had their very first game on a full pitch last weekend. They played Inisscarra in Ballyanly. They played some very good football in what was a very even contest. But the Nemo boys were better at finding the net and in the end they won 6-01 to 2-02.


Fe 12 C3 Football League vs Mallow Mon Mar 19th

The Fe 12 C3 team travelled to Mallow on a bitterly cold day last bank holiday Monday. Despite the cold the boys played very well and put up a decent score. They won 3-06 to 1-02.


Girl’s Fe 16 C Football League vs Ballyphehane Wed Mar 21st

The Fe 16 girls continued their league campaign last week with a home game against neighbours Ballyphehane. The result was never in doubt and the Nemo girls played very well. Ballyphehane tried hard but the Nemo forwards were in great scoring form. Nemo recorded a comfortable win


Camogie Feile Sat Mar 24th

The Fe 14 camogie panel travelled to Rockban last Saturday for Feile. They played two games. First up was Aghada. Despite their best efforts the girls were out hurled in this game. Next up was the home team. Nemo competed well for long periods but Rockban had the better forwards and won comfortably in the end. A great experience for the Nemo girls.


Fe 8 Football Blitz Sat Mar 24th

The Fe 8 boys travelled in strength to Pairc Ui Chaoimh’s 4G pitch last Saturday for a Rebel Og blitz. They made up 5 teams 4x6 and 1x7. The boys played loads of games against teams like St Finbarrs and Ballincollig. They had a great time in the fabulous facilities in the Pairc. Well done to all involved.


Fe 9 Football League vs St Michaels Sat Mar 24th

The Fe 9 boys travelled to Mahon to play St Michaels last Saturday. Both clubs were able to field two teams. Both games were very even with the Nemo boys just about shading it. Great skill and determination was in evidence.


Fe 10 Football League vs Killeagh Sat Mar 24th

The Fe 10 boys had 33 participants in their league opener vs Killeagh last Saturday. 3 mixed teams were formed and 3 games were played. All 3 games were very competitive and even. The boys enjoyed the challenge and everyone had a great time. Great skill shown by both sets of players.


Fe 11 Football League vs Valley Rovers Sat Mar 24th

The Fe 11 boys took on Valley Rovers in Trabeg last Saturday. Each club had enough for 2 teams. Nemo Dubh were beaten narrowly while Nemo Glas recorded a victory. So honours even on the day a win each.


Fe 12 C3 Football League vs Glanmire Sat Mar 24th

The Fe 12 C3 team played a great game last Saturday against Glanmire. Played in Trabeg it was a game where forwards stood out. Nemo were first out of the traps and led by 5 points at one stage of the first half. But Glanmire struck back with some great goals to lead at half time. The second half saw the lead exchange hands several times. Indeed the teams were still scoring in injury time. In the end a draw was a fair result on a score of 5-07 apiece. Some great displays of attacking football from both teams in what was a very enjoyable game.


Fe 18 P1 Football League vs Carbery Rangers Sat Mar 24th

The minors continued their league campaign last Saturday against a very good and well drilled Carbery side. Nemo started the brighter and after 20 minutes they lead 1-04 to 0-02. But Glanmire kicked the next 4 points without reply. At half time Nemo led by two. Early in the second half Glanmire goaled and soon they were ahead by 3 points. But Nemo never panicked and playing some good football they kicked some lovely points to get back in front. Glanmire tried very hard – they hit the woodwork twice in the last few minutes. But the scoring spurt by Nemo at the end meant the home side had a deserved 1-14 to 1-11 win. The minors are now unbeaten after 3 games in the league. With championship on March 31st this is great preparation.


Fe 16 P1 Football League vs Ibane Gaels Sun Mar 25th

The Fe 16 P1 team had their first league outing of the year last Sunday. A game that was supposed to be played in Barryroe was transferred to Trabeg as the Ibane pitch was flooded after the heavy rain of last week. The game itself was very tight early on with the teams exchanging points. But Nemo were caught on the counter twice before half time for goals. At the short whistle the score was 2-04 to 0-04. The second half did not go well for Nemo. They missed a number of scoring chances and were caught for a 3rd goal on the counter early in the half. When Ibane scored their 4th goal with 10 minutes remaining the game was over. Nemo tried hard and never gave up. But Ibane were well deserving winners on the day. Nemo were short a few regulars and they will be needed for championship on April 4th. Final score was 4-12 to 0-07.


Fe 12 G1 Football League vs Douglas Sun Mar 25th

The Fe 12 boys entertained their neighbours Douglas last Sunday. The first half was very competitive with nothing to separate the teams at half time. With 20 minutes to go there was just 2 points between the sides. But Douglas completely took over from that point on. They outscored Nemo 2-08 to 0-01 in the last quarter to record a comfortable 2-15 to 1-04 win. But the score line didn’t do the Nemo boys efforts justice. They certainly tried very hard. Douglas were very good in the last quarter and played some excellent attacking football. Well done to them.


Girl’s Fe 14 D Football League vs St Vals Sun Mar 25th

The Fe 14 girls continued their good league form with an excellent display away to St Vals last Sunday. They were in great goal scoring form and playing some excellent attacking football they recorded a comfortable win. Final score was 7-08 to 1-06. Well done girls.
