Fe 12 B Hurling League vs Kinsale Tues May 24th

The Fe 12 hurlers had a tough contest with Kinsale in Trabeg. Nemo struggled in the first half and Kinsale dominated the early exchanges. The Nemo boys got to grips with their opponents in the 2nd half but they left themselves too much to do. In the end they lost 4-02 to 6-08. They were a little unlucky not to have registered a few more scores.


Girls Fe 12 A Football League vs Carrigaline Weds May 25th

The Nemo girls started really brightly in this home game. They were quickly 1-02 to 0-00 ahead. But Carrigaline reeled them in with some well taken points. At half time Nemo were 1 point in arrears. But they played some great football in the second half to eventually win on a score line of 2-09 to 0-10.


Fe 13 P1 Football League vs Douglas Weds May 25th

Played in Douglas this was by far the best performance all year from Nemo. They matched their opponents for skill and attitude throughout. There was never more than a score or two between the teams. And but for a disallowed goal for Nemo the final score would have been much closer. In the end Douglas prevailed on a score line of 2-08 to 1-05. The Nemo mentors were delighted with the team’s performance.


Fe 14 Camogie vs Clonakilty Fri May 27th

The girls had a good trip to Clonakilty last week. They played really well and were 1-02 to no score ahead at half time. But an unfortunate goal early in the second half left the Clon girls back in the game. And they took full advantage to edge Nemo by one point. Final score was 2-01 to 1-03 for Clonakilty. However, it was an excellent performance by the Nemo girls.


Fe 12 P1 Football League vs Ballincollig Sat May 28th

The Fe 12 boys had a great tussle away to Ballincollig recently. The contest was close for the first 45 minutes with never more than a score between the teams. However, late in the game Ballincollig scored some well worked goals to run out winners on a final score of 5-08 to 1-12. A good performance by the Nemo boys, especially pleasing was the excellent points they scored.


Fe 14 Football Challenge vs Beale Sat May 28th

The Fe 14 footballers played a very entertaining challenge game with Beale from Ballybunion last Saturday week. The football on offer was top notch. Nemo played a total of 29 players during the challenge. Beale won on a score line of 5-14 to 5-10. Many thanks to our guests for travelling to Trabeg for the day. We hope they enjoyed the occasion as much as the Nemo boys did.


Fe 10 Football Blitz Sat May 28th

The Fe 10’s continued their Blitz programme in Trabeg last Saturday week. A total of 27 Nemo boys took part. They played selections from Mallow, St Nicks, Aghada, Fr O’Neills, Carrigaline and Douglas. They were competitive in all their games and enjoyed the occasion at a jam packed Trabeg.


Fe 8 Camogie vs Cobh Sat May 28th

The young Nemo girls had an enjoyable camogie trip away to Cobh recently. They competed well with their opponents and matched them for skill. The Nemo coaches were very happy with the display and the girls enjoyed the day out. Many thanks to our hosts Cobh.


Fe 14 Camogie vs St Colums Sun May 29th

The Nemo girls had an excellent camogie victory over St Colums last Sunday week in Trabeg. They played some excellent hurling and took some fantastic points during the game. Final score was 3-08 to 1-01 to Nemo.


Fe 10 Camogie Blitz Sun May 29th

The young Nemo girls took part in a highly entertaining Camogie Blitz in Castle Road last weekend. They played selections from Douglas, Glen Rovers and Na Piarsaigh. They competed well in all 3 games and were unlucky not to record a victory over Na Piarsaigh. Their skill levels are improving with every outing and the coaches were well pleased with the effort shown by the Nemo Girls.


Fe 11 Hurling League vs Valley Rovers Mon May 30th

The Nemo boys had a tough away assignment to Valley Rovers last week. Nemo Glas and Nemo Dubh both lost. Both teams tried very hard but Valley had the better hurlers and won well in both games. Good effort by the Nemo boys who never gave up.


Fe 11 Camogie vs Blarney Mon May 30th

The Nemo girls made the short trip to Blarney for a well contested camogie game last week. The more experienced Blarney girls won but not without a great battle from Nemo. Final score was 6-00 to 2-01 for Blarney.


Minor Non Exam Football League vs St Nicks Mon May 31st

The Minor footballers took on St Nicks in Trabeg last week. They played very well and dominated the game from start to finish. They had a comfortable win while playing some excellent football.

Fe 12 P1 Football League vs Mallow Tues May 31st

The Nemo Fe 12 boys travelled to Mallow for a league game last week. They came up against formidable opponents. Despite their best efforts they lots on a score line of 5-14 to 1-10. Some late goals by Mallow somewhat skewed the result. In general it was a closely fought contest.


Fe 8 Camogie vs Whitechurch Tues May 31st

The Fe 8 girls had a very enjoyable camogie game against a selection from Whitechurch last week in Trabeg. The girls were competitive and their skill level was excellent. Both teams enjoyed the occasion. No scores were kept.


Fe 11 Camogie vs Rockban Tues May 24th

The Fe 11 Camogie team had a tough outing against Rockban last week. Played in Trabeg the girls competed well. But Rockban were more experienced and this told in the end. However, this was a good outing for the girls and another step along the way for them.


Girls Fe 14 A Football Championship vs Glanmire Fri Jun 3rd

The Fe 14 girl’s football team had a great championship game against Glanmire last week in Trabeg. Both teams were very evenly matched and there was very little between the teams throughout. In the end the more potent scoring power of the Glanmire forwards finally paid off. In the end Glanmire won 4-10 to 3-07. Well done to the Nemo girls for an excellent performance on the night. We wish Glanmire all the best in the next round of the championship.


Girls Fe 12 B3 Football League vs St Vals Fri Jun 3rd

The Fe 12 girls started what was a very busy long weekend for them with a league game against St Vals in Trabeg. Played in sultry summer heat the girls played some fantastic football to record a comfortable win. Final score was 7-07 to 2-03.


Girls Fe 12 A Football League vs Douglas Sat June 4th

The Girls Fe 12 A team then played Douglas on the Saturday of the long weekend away. This was a very close game. Nemo did waste some gilt edged goal chances, but in the end the girls won on score line of 0-08 to 0-02. Very good performance by the girls against tough opposition.


Girls Fe 12 B3 Football League vs Eire Og Sun Jun 5th

On the Sunday of the long weekend the girls Fe 12 B team completed a hectic weekend with an away trip to Eire Og. With a lot of the girls tired from the previous two days matches this was never going to be easy. Eire Og were on top from the start to the finish. And despite trying their hardest the Nemo girls were well beaten on the day. It finished a remarkable weekend for the Fe 12 girls – they had to play 3 games in 3 days to complete their league program by the appointed deadline. Both A and B teams have now qualified for league semi-finals. Well done to all involved.


Girls Fe 10 Football League vs Douglas Mon Jun 6th

The Fe 10 Girls had a tricky assignment away to Douglas this week. But they played some great football to overcome their near neighbors and rivals. They kicked some great scores and had a well-deserved win. Douglas never gave up but Nemo were always in control.
