Minor Football Activity
On Wednesday 26th August the minor footballers played their final group game in the Rebel Óg Fe 18 Premier 1 Football Championship Group 2. The Nemo boys stayed in the game and kept playing to the end. Glanmire were stronger on the night and won on a score line of 3-11 to 1-10. In the C3 competition the boys have a game away to St Michaels 7th September.
Fe 16 Football Activity
The U16 boys played Mallow in the Rebel Óg Fe 16 Premier 1 Football League Group 2 on Saturday 22nd August at Trabeg. The Nemo boys were sharper in front of the posts in this game. Final score line 1-11 to 1-6.
Fe 16 Hurling Activity
The U16 hurlers have been busy with games over the past few weeks. The boys played Whitechurch in round 3 of the Rebel Óg East Fe 16 Hurling League Division 2 on the 17th August at Trabeg. Goals wins games applied with the Nemo boys hitting the net on three occasions. Final score 3-7 to 1-9.
The hurlers played St Colmcilles on Monday 31st August at Trabeg. The lads put in a good performance but came up against a stronger side. Final score 1-13 to 4-12.
Fe 14 Football Activity
The U14 footballers played Glanmire in the Rebel Óg Fe 14 Premier 1 Football League Group 2 on the 24th August at Glanmire. The Nemo boys kept playing to the end against a strong Glanmire side. The Glanmire lads recorded the win.
Fe 14 Hurling Activity
In the Rebel Óg East Fe 14 Hurling League Division 1B Nemo Rangers recently recorded a win over Blackrock at Trabeg. In a high scoring game, the Nemo boys hit the net on eight occasions.
In the Rebel Óg East Fe 14 Hurling League Div 1 Play offs the Nemo boys played St Colmcilles away on the 28th August. The boys played well but St Colmcilles were the stronger team in this game and recorded the win.
Fe 12 Football Activity
The boys played St Colmcille’s in the Rebel Óg East Fe 12 Football League Division 3 B at Trabeg on the 24th August. The St Colmcilles boys got the scores in this game. The U12 boys played Na Piarsaigh away in the Rebel Óg East Fe 12 Football League Division 1 A on the 31st August. This was a very tight game with two points separating the teams at the final whistle. The Nemo boys prevailed with some fine goals scored.
Fe 12 Hurling Activity
On the 29th August Nemo played Blarney in Mid Group 2A hurling game at Trabeg. The Blarney boys registered eleven scores and the Nemo boys twelve scores in an entertaining game. Crucially for Blarney they scored goals and edged the game.
Nemo Rangers Street Leagues 2020
The Nemo Rangers 49th Annual Football, Hurling & Camogie Street Leagues starts Friday 4th September. Street Leagues at Nemo first started back in 1971. This year the Street Leagues is over 4 weekends in September with a final’s day planned for Saturday 3rd October 2020. Street Leagues are fun gaelic games for boys and girls U10, U8 and U6. Club members can participate in the Street Leagues. Membership is available on the Nemo Rangers club website https://member.clubforce.com/memberships_cart_m.asp?LL_ID=1278&clb=1
