Girls Minor Football Activity

The girls played Ballinora away on the 30th August in the Minor A League. This was a keenly contested game with the home prevailing on score line of 1-8 to 1-4.


Fe 18 Camogie Activity

The Fe 18 girls played Kilworth under lights at Trabeg on Friday 4th September. The girls put in a strong performance with some excellent scores on the night in this championship game. The Trabeg outfit recorded the win on a score line of 2-9 to 0-4. A lot of the Nemo u18 girls are also involved with the Nemo Rangers Junior C Camogie team. The Junior C Camogie team had a fine win over St Vincent’s in the County Semi final on the 8th September at Trabeg. The Nemo Rangers Junior C Camogie team now have a county final to look forward to on the 27th September.


Girls Fe 16 Football Activity

The girls played St Finbarr’s away in the U16C League Group 2 on 23rd August. The Nemo forwards were in fine form and registered an excellent win.


Girls Fe 14 Football Activity

The two Fe14 girls football teams have been very busy with lots of games at home and away over the past few weeks.

The u14A girls were away to St Val’s on the 12th September. The away team won this game.

The u14C girls were at home to Ballygarvan in a challenge game on the 6th September. All the girls got loads of game time in an entertaining game.


Fe 14 Camogie Activity

The girls played their third game of the championship away to Kinsale at Dunderrow on the 9th September. This was the girl’s best performance of the season with scores level at the first water break.  There were some good scores taken by both teams. The Kinsale girls were the stronger team on the night and recorded the win. The girls now have the Seandún u15 and u13 competition to look forward too with games coming up against St Vincent’s and Brian Dillons.


Girls Fe 12 Football Activity

The Fe 12 girls have been busy on the football field. The U12C girls played St Val’s B away on the 6th September. This was a tight game with defences on top. St Val’s edged this game. The U12A girls played Kinsale at home on the 5th September at Trabeg. This was a closely contested game.


Fe 12 Camogie Activity

The Fe 12 girls Glas and Dubh camogie teams have been very busy over the past few weeks. The first team played Blackrock at Castle Road on Sunday 13th September. This was a terrific game with scores very tight at half time. The Nemo girls put in a fantastic performance in the second half and got the scores on the board. The first team played St Vincent’s at home on Monday 7th September. This was a tight and keenly contested game. Some fine scores were executed by both teams on the night. The Nemo girls in front at the final whistle. The girls now have a semi final to look forward too.

The second team played Bishopstown at home on Tuesday 1st September. The girls came up against a very strong Bishopstown side. The girls kept playing till the end.


Huge credit to the coaches involved with the two u12 camogie teams. It has been fantastic to see the girls improve and to see the fine displays of camogie skills from both teams over the past few weeks.


Girls Fe 11 Football Activity

The Nemo U11 girls played St Michaels at home in a challenge game on the 6th September at Nemo.  The girls were superb with all players getting to play in different positions. There was excellent defending and score taking on display from both teams.


Girls Fe 10 Football Activity

The Nemo U10 girls played Douglas at home on the 13th September. This was the girls first game of the season and they were in fine form. All the girls got to play in different positions on the pitch. It was fantastic to see all the teamwork and the girls displaying their football skills.


Fe 10 Camogie Activity

The u10 and u9 Camogie team were out in their second game of the year at home to Bishopstown on 6th September. It was great to see the girls demonstrating their camogie skills. It is fantastic to see their jab lifting and striking ball out of hand improve over the past few weeks.  A big thank you again to our Go Games referee Grainne who is also a member of our Nemo Rangers Minor and Junior Camogie teams.
