Nemo Rangers Over 35s win out the Bishopstown Over 35s Tournament with a win over the hosts in the final

Nemo Rangers 1-5 Bishopstown 0-3
Four teams took part in the tournament - Bishopstown, Na Piarsaigh, Ballincollig and Nemo Rangers.
Matches were 11 minutes per side with a 5-minute break for half-time. Teams were 15 a side with rolling and unlimited substitutions. Players turning 35 in 2024 and older were eligible to play. Teams got 3 points for a win, 2 for a draw, or 1 for losing bonus point if they lose by 4 or less.
The weather was good and the pitches were still firm which made for some nice football.
Nemo Rangers played Na Piarsaigh in their first game and ran out winners with the goal coming from Dave McCarthy. Sean Og Halpin togged out for Na Piarsaigh.
Bishopstown overcame Ballincollig in the other game.

Nemo Rangers then got over Ballincollig in a tight game with Na Piarsaigh seeing off Ballincollig in the other game.
Nemo Rangers beat Ballincollig in their last group game to top the group and qualify for the final against Bishopstown who beat Na Piarsaigh.
The final was another tight affair. William Morgan scored a fortuitous when he lobbed the keeper from the right wing. Points from Dylan Mehigan, Dave McCarthy and the insurance point from Michael Morgan saw them win and Kieran Stone, who was captain on the day, lifted the cup.
The host put on a barbeque for the players who enjoyed a few pints in the clubhouse after.
